Assistant Accountant

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring timely and compliant reporting to support management decision-making. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements by compiling data from various sources and verifying accuracy. Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure financial integrity. Support the accounts payable and receivable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and tracking outstanding balances.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to demonstrate foundational knowledge of accounting principles. Professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA preferred to signify commitment to the accounting profession. 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles, showcasing a practical understanding of financial processes.
