Accounts Manager - GCC Operations

To independently manage and oversee the Finance & Accounts function of AWS Distribution’s FMCG operations across Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait, ensuring accurate accounting, timely financial reporting, strong working-capital and inventory controls, compliance with applicable local tax and regulatory requirements, and effective coordination with Group Finance, commercial teams, warehouses/3PL providers, banks, auditors and other external parties.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent is preferred. Minimum 7–10 years of progressive Finance & Accounts experience, preferably including an Accounts Manager or similar supervisory role. Strong preference for candidates with FMCG/distribution experience and exposure to multi-country GCC operations. Hands-on knowledge of inventory accounting, landed cost, customer receivables, supplier accounting, bank reconciliations, financial closing and management reporting. Good working knowledge of IFRS and practical exposure to GCC tax/VAT and statutory compliance requirements. Experience dealing with , external auditors, tax advisors, banks and cross-functional operational team Strong ERP and advanced Excel skills; ability to work with large transaction volumes and multiple entities/currencies. Strong analytical, communication, follow-up and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. Employment Type Full-time
