Accounts Executive
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing/industrial accounting, hands-on expertise in Tally, and solid knowledge of VAT compliance and general accounting practices. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting smooth day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP/Tally Prime (purchases, sales, journal entries, payments, receipts) Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations Handle VAT computation, filing, and compliance in line with statutory regulations Prepare and maintain stock/inventory accounting records relevant to manufacturing operations (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) Process purchase orders, GRNs, and supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy with production and procurement data Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) on a regular basis Assist in monthly closing of books and preparation of financial reports/MIS Coordinate with production/stores teams for cost accounting and inventory valuation Ensure timely TDS/withholding tax, VAT returns, and other statutory filings Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records for audit and compliance purposes Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government departments as required Desired Candidate Profile Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B .Com / M .Com or equivalent) 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing/industrial company Strong, hands-on proficiency in Tally ERP9 / Tally Prime is mandatory Sound knowledge of VAT laws, filing procedures, and compliance Good understanding of general accounting principles, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations Familiarity with inventory and cost accounting in a manufacturing setup is a strong plus Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic reporting) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data Good communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams (production, procurement, sales) Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines Employment Type Full Time Company Industry MetalsSteelIronAluminiumFabrication Department / Functional Area AccountsTaxationAuditCompany Secretary Keywords Product KnowledgeVAT FilingTally ERPTally SoftwareAccounts HandlingBank ReconciliationInventory ManagementMS ExcelManufacturing ManagementAccounts Management Get real-time job updates only on our App
