Accounting Manager

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial transactions. Monitor cash flow, expenses, receivables, and payables. Ensure compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and relevant governmental authorities. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Develop and maintain effective internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial policies. Analyze financial results and provide management with reports and insights to support business decisions. Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with solid supervisory or managerial exposure. Strong knowledge of financial accounting, GL, AP, AR, taxation, and financial reporting. Strong understanding of Egyptian Accounting Standards and applicable tax regulations. Previous experience managing month-end and year-end closing. Strong experience dealing with external auditors and tax inspections. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
