Accountant

Nassar Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with 5 10 years of professional experience to join our team in Dora, Beirut.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly closing activities
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances
• Follow up on customer collections and supplier payments
• Reconcile customer and supplier accounts
• Prepare financial reports and assist management with financial analysis
• Prepare and submit VAT declarations and other regulatory reports
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations
• Support continuous improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5 10 years of accounting experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience using accounting or ERP software. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Beirut or nearby areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in payroll accounting
• Experience in ERP systems
• Knowledge of Lebanese VAT and tax regulations
