Accountant

Kazamer Tax Consultant is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to support its financial and accounting operations in Dubai . The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, handle invoices and reconciliations, and assist with tax-related requirements. Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of accounting practices are essential for this position. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and accounting records . Record daily transactions, journal entries, receipts, payments, and expenses. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Prepare and verify invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents. Perform regular bank and account reconciliations. Maintain and review general ledger accounts. Prepare monthly financial statements, schedules, and management reports. Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate payment follow-ups. Verify expenses and ensure transactions are properly documented and authorized. Assist with VAT returns, tax documentation, and compliance-related activities . Support the preparation of financial information required for audits. Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding accounting and financial queries. Maintain organized digital and physical financial records. Identify accounting discrepancies and assist in resolving them promptly. Ensure accounting transactions comply with company policies and applicable regulations. Assist management with financial analysis and reporting when required. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and client information.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce , or a related field. Previous experience as an Accountant in the UAE is preferred. Good knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. Familiarity with UAE VAT and tax compliance is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Experience with accounting platforms such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar systems is preferred. Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage deadlines and multiple accounting tasks efficiently. High level of integrity and confidentiality.
