Accountant General

Handle the full set of accounts for the restaurant, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Record and maintain accurate daily sales, purchases, expenses, cash transactions, and other financial transactions. Prepare and post journal entries, maintain proper supporting documentation, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records. Monitor and reconcile restaurant POS sales, cash collections, credit card transactions, online delivery platforms, and bank receipts. Manage supplier invoices, payments, staff-related expenses, and other operating expenses, ensuring timely and accurate recording. Prepare monthly financial statements, including the Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and cash flow reports. Monitor food and beverage costs, inventory movements, wastage, and variances, and provide regular reports to management. Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial analysis to support restaurant management in decision-making. Conduct regular reconciliations and reviews of financial transactions to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, tax requirements, and other relevant regulations. Coordinate with auditors, management, suppliers, and other departments regarding accounting and financial matters. Provide management with accurate and timely financial reports and analysis on the restaurant’s financial performance.
