Accountant
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts. Record all purchase invoices, supplier payments, expenses, and journal entries accurately. Reconcile bank statements monthly for all accounts. Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation in line with ZATCA requirements. Manage the full accounts receivable cycle: invoice generation, customer follow-up, and collections tracking. Monitor DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and escalate overdue balances to management promptly. Process supplier invoices, verify against purchase orders, and coordinate payment runs with management approval. Maintain accurate aging reports for both receivables and payables. Maintain customer credit profiles to assess risk by utilising company metrics. Manage customer accounts with credit limits and ensure compliance of customer legal documents according to credit policy. Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns accurately and on time. Ensure all outgoing invoices are compliant with Phase 2 e-invoicing requirements. Handle Corporate Income Tax (CIT) filing, including preparation of depreciation schedules and statutory reserves. Liaise with external auditors as required for financial statements. Prepare monthly/quarterly profit & loss statements and balance sheets. Produce monthly cash flow reports and flag working capital concerns to management. Support preparation of annual budgets and variance analysis. Maintain intercompany reconciliations between the Saudi and UAE entities.
